Biography

I am a wife and mom of two teens, Ryder and Addie, and dog, Izzy, residing in Frisco, Texas.  I grew up in Texas, attended Baylor University and moved to Colorado for graduate school.

As a college athlete, I started out in the health and wellness field, training both myself and others to excel in their pursuit of physical fitness.  I soon discovered, however, the importance of mental and emotional health.  Many of the physically well individuals I worked with were unhappy, stressed or lonely.

Over the years, I have pursued extensive training to treat a variety of mental health issues and accumulated a depth of knowledge from each of the hundreds of individuals I’ve had the opportunity to work with.  It is my calling and passion to join others on their journey of healing.

Education

I attended Baylor University, graduating in 1999 with my Bachelors of Science in Education Degree in Health and Wellness Studies, Cum Laude.

After graduating, I continued my studies and attended Colorado Christian University, graduating in 2001 with my Master of Arts Degree in Counseling.
